From the developer

In a first-person launch letter on Steam ("Reason and Madness"), the game's creator traces the series back to Rainblood: Town of Death, an RPG Maker hobby project made 20 years ago. The letter says the team used thousands of hours of motion capture, built a dedicated team of martial arts performers led by action director Yang Liu, with guidance from Donnie Yen, and that music director Caisheng Bo created more than ten hours of music almost entirely by himself. It also highlights support for 16:9, 16:10 handheld and ultrawide displays beyond 3:1.
