Oct 30, 2026: NetEase's Marvel Rivals rolled out Version 20261029 on Thursday, Oct. 29, at 09:00 UTC (5:00 AM ET) with no server downtime. It brings a new limited-time puzzle event starring Elsa Bloodstone, new store bundles, and a batch of hero bug fixes.

Night of Illusions (limited-time event)

  • What it is: a story event in which Elsa Bloodstone investigates a strange house. You explore 5 rooms, solve puzzles, and earn limited-time rewards including rare Gallery Cards, Units and Sprays, per the patch notes.

  • Winter Soldier – Celestial Soldier Bundle: available from Oct. 30, 02:00 UTC to Nov. 27, 02:00 UTC.
  • From Oct. 30, 02:00 UTC: Storm and Iron Man Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls bundles, the Winter Soldier Celestial Soldier emoji bundle, Celestial Soldier Chroma and Ultimate Ability VFX, and Storm's Marvel Tōkon Ultimate Ability VFX.

Hero and gameplay fixes

From the official notes:

  • Gorr: could occasionally fly out of the map if he cast Shadow Harvest right after generating a Black Berserker. Fixed.
  • Black Cat: the 'Q' key could still trigger the second phase of her Ultimate even after you rebound the Ultimate to another key. Fixed. Her Fatal Weaver costume's overhead icon also no longer disappears during the Binding Ties Team-Up with Spider-Man.
  • Invisible Woman: using other abilities didn't always break stealth when she entered it with Veiled Step. Fixed, so expect her stealth to end more reliably.
  • Rogue: arm clipping through the cape on the X-Men '97 Season 2 costume when walking backward. Fixed.
  • Moon Knight (Blood Hunt mode): equipping an Ankh-focused build without Traits could stop him placing an Ankh. Fixed.
  • Times Square: players who chose "One More Round" couldn't return to Times Square after the next match. Fixed.
  • Store UI: a navigation bar could slide off screen after finishing all Pop & Wins. Fixed.

What it means for players

The Black Cat keybind fix matters most for competitive players: anyone with a custom Ultimate bind could accidentally fire the second phase with Q. The Invisible Woman change is a small but real gameplay fix, because stealth that didn't break when it should have was an unintended advantage.
