Rockstar Drops "Pusher" and Dates Justice's 30-Track GTA VI Score for Dec. 11

Oct 30, 2026 — Three weeks before Grand Theft Auto VI arrives, Rockstar is still rolling out the soundtrack one piece at a time. On Thursday, Oct. 29, the Rockstar Newswire announced Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score by Grammy-winning French duo Justice, set for release on Dec. 11, 2026, and debuted a new single, "Pusher" featuring Gesaffelstein.

What Rockstar announced

According to Rockstar's announcement (Newswire and its official press release):

  • The score is composed by Justice, the French duo (Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, per SPIN's coverage).
  • It's an adaptive score, with compositions "dynamically tuned" to the different ways players engage with Vice City and Leonida throughout Jason and Lucia's story.
  • The album arrives Dec. 11 on all major music streaming services, plus CD and vinyl.
  • It contains 30 tracks, including "Flower in a Hurricane" featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, the song heard in the GTA VI launch trailer.
  • The new single "Pusher" feat. Gesaffelstein debuted the same day.
  • The album also includes digital bonus tracks across all formats.
  • Pre-orders include a limited Triple Crystal Clear vinyl (as reported by Inven and Game Informer).

Rockstar Games' official Japanese press release, issued Oct. 30 local time, adds that physical formats include a two-disc CD and a three-disc vinyl set.

Score vs. soundtrack: two different albums

It's easy to mix these up. The Original Score is separate from Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the official soundtrack of 34 original tracks that Rockstar announced on Sept. 17 in partnership with Atlantic Records. That album launches Nov. 19, alongside the game. Justice's score comes about three weeks later.

Rockstar is also pointing fans to the Music section of the official GTA VI site, which previews select in-game radio stations and featured singles from The Album.

The release date hasn't moved

The score news comes with a reminder that the game itself is on track. Rockstar's Newswire lists GTA VI's launch as Thursday, Nov. 19, 2026, and the Oct. 30 Japanese press release from Rockstar Games restates the Nov. 19 release for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. That release also lists the game's Japanese rating as CERO Z (ages 18 and up).

Why it matters

Music has always been central to GTA's identity, and this announcement extends the GTA VI music campaign past launch day: the soundtrack album lands with the game, and the score follows in December, giving Rockstar another headline in the busy post-launch window.

Game Informer and other outlets also covered the announcement on Oct. 29.
